PP Will Recognize
For the artist who are out in the world sacrificing their livelihoods to improve and perfect their craft, I promise the PP movement will find you. often when someone is good at their job/trade or cares deeply about their work people will say "it's like an art to me" or "oh he's like an artist" This is because artist use to be highly respected by society. Being an artist was among the most respected professions—art stood with science, invention, writing, and mathematics as a pillar of human achievement. Today, if I told a stranger on the street, I’m an artist, they might laugh—and I wouldn’t blame them. What type of message are artist of our era sending when the most notable thing we've done is tape a banana to a wall? if art is a reflection of society, we are all doomed.
PP Will inspire
As an artist it is your duty to inspire people, take risk, be creative, push boundaries and to try your best. Furthermore, it is your duty as a HUMAN to try your best whether you're an artist or not. If your goal is to be a good person, TRY YOUR BEST. If your goal is to wash cars, TRY YOUR BEST. When your done trying your best, TRY HARDER! PURSUE PERFECTION! THIS IS PP! MEDIOCRITY IS THE ENEMY! If you disagree, I have nothing against you but only pity. God has blessed you with a gift and refusing to expand it with lack of effort or fear is like spitting in his face. But for the ones who seek improvement and excellence, I ask that you stand with me, and we can PP together. Let us dream of a world where cutting corners is avoided and true effort and passion is celebrated.
